When I moved to Canada in 1995, I continued helping companies strengthen their safety and management systems and supporting businesses across Ontario and Alberta.
More recently I started a company Boosting With AI because I saw that AI gives us something we’ve never had before – the ability to see un-cluttered opportunities.
International Work experience
Timothy Bell – CMIOSH, CRSP and Euro C.Eng was a senior Manager with Centrica for the development of the Morecambe Bay Gas Field where he coordinated the field Safety Management System – SMS following the Piper Alpha disaster and the introduction of the UK safety case legislation in the North Sea and worldwide.
Previously a Mentor and trainer as an agent for the Workplace Insurance Safety Board (WSIB – WSPS) in Canada a speaker helping organization’s to achieve improvements in EHS through comprehensive planning and effective management control measures.

Mr Bell’s Career started in the oil business with The British National Oil Company (BNOC) Aberdeen as a Production Graduate. Seconded to Well completions
Beatrice Alpha Moray Firth Commissioning and offshore installation of BNOC Beatrice-A Moray Firth submersible pump completions – 1978 Followed by working with OTIS on Well testing in Abu Dhabi.
Brae Alpha 1983 start up with Expro – Now being de commissioned after 40 years of production
Worked with Oceaneering in Ivory coast, Norway, Tunisia, Bay of Biscay when the Falklands task group sailed past – ROV and sub sea wellheads.
Joined British Gas for the development of the Morecambe Bay Gas Field as Offshore Well Services Manager. – 1990. Completed and tested 44 wells on 3 remote platforms. No incidents on my shift – Target Zero accident rate with thorough planning and effective management controls.
Seconded to the offshore Safety Case team following Piper Alpha disaster. Responsible for coordinating the Safety Management system SMS for Centrica Irish Sea and reviewing the firewater systems.

Bay Driller Jack up completing a slant well – Drilling Rig skidded onto remote platforms.
High pressure well testing – Signing on work permits and check Lists
Wireline Gantry for slant Well entry – Mr Bell achieved his Chartered Mechanical Engineer Status for his contributions to the complex design on the wireline Gantry for well logging.
Seconded as field Safety Manager to Karachakanak near Orenburg – Russia a high H2S gas and condensate field. Key member of a well development survey team with AGIP of Italy.

Renovated and rescued the derelict old old police station and Courthouse in Dalton in Furness – Cumbria UK into a succesful business centre and restaurant.
Vice President for the Lancashire and Cumbria Federation of small businesses (FSB) – Loss of town centres a major concern brought about by city parking policies.
An active advocate for the local economy and Chair and founder of the “Boosting Furness group” set up to identify and promote opportunities for the Furness and English Lake District areas.
